Is it free to edit a PDF?
Yes. Editing and the watermarked preview are free. You pay only to download the clean copy.
Is this a subscription?
No. Single downloads, credit packs and passes are all one-time charges.
Do I need an account?
No. Guests can edit and buy. A free account keeps your documents and credits together on the My Documents page.
How long are my documents kept?
Unpaid drafts are deleted automatically after a short time. Paid downloads can be downloaded again for a limited time.
Which files can I upload?
Standard PDF files up to 20 MB, including fillable forms. Password-protected PDFs and XFA-only forms are not supported.
Are electronic signatures legal?
Often yes, but not for every document or place. Read our E-Signature Disclaimer.
Are the government forms up to date?
We review forms regularly, but agencies publish new revisions. Each form page links to its official source so you can confirm the latest version.
I paid but could not download.
Open My Documents or the link in your receipt email to download again. If that fails, contact us with your receipt.
