This site lets you add an image of your signature or initials to a PDF. Please read this notice before relying on an electronically signed document.
Legal validity
In the United States, the federal ESIGN Act and state laws based on the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA) generally give electronic signatures the same effect as handwritten ones, and many other countries have similar laws. However, some documents, such as certain wills, court papers, notarized documents and some government filings, may require a handwritten (wet) signature, a notary, witnesses or a specific signing process.
What this tool does
The tool places your signature image on the document. It does not verify identity, provide a certificate-based digital signature, or create an audit trail of who signed and when.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for confirming that an electronic signature is acceptable for your document and to the person or agency receiving it. When in doubt, print and sign by hand or ask a qualified professional.
